• About Anna Powers

    Anna Powers is an 11th grader who is in her third year at the Blue and Gold. She is a bubbly and social person with a very friendly attitude. She has been the Class of 2018 Vice President since freshman year and hopes to obtain a future career in government. Her interest in local politics and writing has led to her interest in journalism. At school, Powers’ interest in the subject history is fueled by her passion for past politics and current events. In her free time, Anna’s hobbies are watching Netflix and shopping. Her absolute favorite TV show is How I Met Your Mother and favorite movie is Forrest Gump. She had expressed that Ms. Haskell the student advisor of 11th grade is her role model, and she looks up to her in every way.
