On Saturday, Apr. 19, 2014 at Bell Rock Park, the Salvation Army hosted its second annual easter egg hunt. Children from ages 2-12 were able to participate in hunting for eggs, although they had been split up into different age groups. For each age group, there was a boy and girl winner that had gathered the most eggs. For this event to happen, Major Joy Labbe and Lieutenant James Labbe assembled a group of volunteers who helped set up. Because this is only the second year for the event, and the great success is rewarding, many people are hoping that this event will continue on for a long time. It is a great way to bring the community together. Video features Major Labbe speaking, Lieutenant Labbe, Ward One City Councillor Peg Crowe, and attendee Martha Bezzat.
