Autumn activities
- Drink lots of hot chocolate; everyone loves hot chocolate. Autumn weather is the perfect time to relax and get cozy with a nice, warm cup of hot chocolate and extra marshmallows.
- Go apple or pumpkin picking. Fall is really the only season when you can pick good red and green apples and the best time for a sweet pumpkin pie. Get started at 89 Pleasant St. South, South Natick, MA 01760.
- Rake up leaf afterleaf in one massive pile andjump in them after you’re all done!
- Do a walk for a good cause. There are many upcoming walks to be a part of this October such as the ALS society walk on October 25th at DCR’s Carson Beach – Mother’s Rest South Boston, MA. The walk starts at 11:00 am and has a distance of 3 miles. The national kidney foundation society on October 26th at Canal park in Cambridge, MA. It starts at 10:30 am. - Spend some time with your family and friends.
- Watch some new movies in theaters coming up this October like Men, Women & Children on October 17th, and The Best of Me also on October 17th.
- Watch the leaves change into different colors.
- Read a nice book. This fall, there are some good books coming out like Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, This is where i leave you by Jonathan Tropper, and Wild by Chery Strayed.
- Some upcoming concerts in September and October are the Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull concert at TD Garden in Boston on September 27th and the Bastille concert at Agganis Arena on October 13th.
- Go to a sports game like the Red Sox game in Fenway Park against the Yankees on September 27th and 28th. The Patriotsplaying on September 29th against the Chiefs.
