Gustavo Batista is a sophomore at Malden High School. Batista moved to Malden in 2017, he had lived in Brazil for 10 years prior to coming to Malden. He moved to the USA for better and more opportunities. He speaks Portuguese and is currently studying French as one of his electives. Batista was also part of the gardening club his freshmen year, however, he left as it wasn’t something he felt inspired to do any longer. He wants to enjoy his life, be more open, and also be more social. Batista is also a bit of a musician as he played guitar for a few years. He loves music and is a huge fan of Laufey, ANAVITORIA, and Lana Del Rey.
