Lucia Quesada Nylen
Born on Sept. 8th, junior Lucia Quesada Nylen is the current Head of Sports of the hundredth edition of the Malden High School student-run school newspaper, The Blue & Gold. Quesada Nylen joined the staff her freshman year due to her love of writing, and soon came to enjoy sports and opinion writing most. At sixteen years of age, Quesada Nylen, besides being a part of the illustrious Blue & Gold, is also a two-sport student athlete at MHS, being both a capable center back of the MHS girls soccer team and a swimmer of the recently GBL-championed MHS swim team. Outside of school and sports, Quesada Nylen, loves eating chicken nuggets and arroz con pollo y plátanos. She also enjoys watching Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Modern Family in her spare time. In the future, Quesada Nylen hopes for a successful career in either business or sports medicine.
