Maria Dasilva
Maria is a fifteen year old sophomore and JV soccer player. She had previously learned about the Blue and Gold last year and decided to join this year to express her ideas in her work and to also advance in her writing skills. When she gets older, she would like to be a writer or journalist. Her favorite book is if i stay by Gayle Foreman and her favorite movie is Stuck in Love. While writing, her strongest part is the descriptive and creativeness while her weakest is creating poetry. When she gets older, she would like to run the Blue and Gold as the seniors do now. Her supporter and role model is her mom and her biggest pet peeve is when people try to be something they're not. Maria’s favorite quote is “No one is worthless in this world, who lightens the burden of it to anyone else”.
