Freshman, Shantae Francis, a new member of the Blue and Gold staff, hopes to help out with photography needs, as well as sports and Nedlam’s Corner. As a freshman and a new face to Malden High, she enjoys singing and hanging out with her family. Regarding music, Francis enjoys all genres including indie, Jamaican, and rap. As a hobby, Francis enjoys writing music herself, with help and inspiration from her older sister. Francis plans to join either cheerleading or track, as well as tennis in her freshman year. In the future, Francis hopes to have a career involved in music whether it be a producer, singer, or an agent.
